About NATCON 2026

NATCON 2026 is the 81st National Conference on Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases, organized under the aegis of the Tuberculosis Association of India.

The conference is being hosted by the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Government Medical College, Patiala in collaboration with the Punjab State TB Association.

NATCON 2026 will bring together leading experts, clinicians, academicians, and researchers to discuss advancements in tuberculosis care, respiratory medicine, and public health strategies. How to Reach Patiala?

By Air
- To reach Patiala by air, the most convenient option is to fly to Chandigarh International Airport, which is located about 60–70 km from the city and takes roughly 1 to 1.5 hours by road. From the airport, you can easily hire a taxi or cab for a direct and comfortable journey to your venue Government Medical College, Patiala.
- Alternatively, Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is the second nearest option located approximately 250–260 km away and offers excellent domestic and international connectivity. From Delhi, you can travel to Patiala by road or train.

By Train
1. The most convenient option is to arrive at Patiala Railway Station, which is the nearest railhead to the city. From the station, Government Medical College, Patiala is just a short distance away and can be reached easily by auto rickshaw, cab or local transport within 10 – 20 minutes depending on traffic.
2. The second option is to arrive at Ambala Cantonment Railway Station, which is well connected with major cities. It is located around 60–70 km from Patiala and from there you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Government Medical College, Patiala in approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
3. The third option is to arrive at Rajpura Junction Railway Station, which is located about 25–30 km from Patiala. From the station, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach Government Medical College, Patiala in approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

By Road
Patiala enjoys excellent connectivity especially from Delhi which is approximately 250–260 km away. The journey by car typically takes around 4.5 to 5.5 hours via NH44, ensuring a smooth and comfortable travel experience for delegates. The city is located approximately 250 km from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi and around 245 km from New Delhi Railway Station.

Authors are invited to submit their abstracts through the online submission portal by following the prescribed guidelines. Abstracts should adhere to the specified format and word limit. All submissions will be reviewed by the scientific committee, and acceptance will be communicated to the authors accordingly.
